Just as she sang, wild flowers don't care where they grow.

Self-portrait Thursday, a piece that I made and some written work to share with you all.

I made this for self-portrait Thursday. I took a photo of me, croped it added some digital art and bingo! Happy Thrusday everyone!

This is a piece that I made using acrylics mainly. Then to top it off I added some glow in the dark paint that I had!

I wanted to add this to share it with you all. All of you, I'm sure know of these three that I mention here. All were Disabled, made a huge impression on the world and are now gone. All three had different disabilities. I wrote this for one of the facebook groups on disabilities. I think that knowing this may inspire someone. I hope that it inspires you. Let me know what you think...

Vincent Van Gogh was epileptic yet painted almost everyday of his life. He acted odd because he was in pain. I think of him as a hero, nomatter how he acted because that was before medications and operations were available to help him. He touched many lives and his work touches lives today as well as the memory that he left behind. If he had Grand-Mal seizures that would consist of shaking, falling down, breaking the nose, arm, leg. Due to the fact that there was little that could help him, he was cast into despair that few at that time understood. Many don't understand it even today. If they had the operations that they do today available to help him, perhaps he would of been able to think clearer. 1853-1890

There was Helen Keller who went through alot during her time. She was deaf and blind as a child she did not know how to communicate with her family and was lost. Throwing tantrums non-stop, her family did not know what to do to help her. Until her teacher Anne Sullivan arrived and helped her. She would become her lifelong friend. She was taught sign language and told her mother that she loved her for the first time in her life. A scene showing how her teacher explained to her what water was by putting her hand under water became very well known. What she went through became an inspiration to many. 1880-1968

There was Frida Kahlo who although was born without a disability, went through a terrible bus accident causing her to be in pain throughout her adult life. She had many operations to help this but they often would only cause her more pain. After her accident, she could not walk and had to live out of her bed at the time doctors thought that she would never walk. Later she would infact walk and became a painter who's work would inspire many people. 1907-1954
There are many different opinions on her work because many of her pieces are rather bloody but that is the reality that she lived. Alot of people do not wish to see reality because it scares them but the truth is many people have no choice. They have to live it, the only choice they have is how they choose to deal with it. That choice is not up to anyone else, it is up to each individual person to figure out for themselves how they can cope best with things in their lives. If painting what you feel is how you choose to deal with things then who is to say that is wrong? What I believe to be wrong would be letting out your pain on others. Letting out your pain on canvas is a much better way of dealing with it.

LookingInside and a portrait of a friend.

This is a mixed media piece. It's about seeing the true meaning of music, poetry, etc. because before the music was added it was infact just poetry! The eyes stand for seeing and the notes stand for music.

This is a portrait that I did of a friend. Her name on Flickr, etsy, etc. is Moonstr so I put a moon in it. I made a sketch of her a long time ago, just for the heck of it. As many of you know portraits are not my main form of art.
I just got glow in the dark paint and will probably add that to the moon. We'll see what it does. Hope that you like it.

I hope that you all have a great week!!! Thanks for taking the time to stop by!!!

Fundraiser, Digital works and a poem.

Here are a few pictures from a Fundraiser that I attended! The money raised there went to help a child who just recieved a heart transplant.
The show was wonderful!!!
This first photo is Me,Matthew Meece,Dad and Michelle Meece! What a wonderful thing for them to do! They are such wonderful people!

This photo show's Shannon K.,me,Mr. ?(I'm going to call him that because I can't remember his name. My memory STINKS!) and Jennifer D.

Here's some Digital work that I made. Can you guess what this one is made of or was made from?

This one is my peace portrait taken at a market that I had in the past.

This one while I know is odd...represents the fact that looks don't matter as much as many people tend to think that they do. Just as I have taken many photo's in the past with no make-up at all on, I mixed this photo up a bit to make a statement.

Last by not least here is my latest poem:
"WorthWhile"

Others from your past that have made you blue.
They can turn right around and make things unglue.

If you help them out, they'll help you.
In doing so you'll find there what's true.
In time you'll find your true friends who will help for nothing as true friends often do.
Those true friends will stick around even when you are blue.
So when you ask what's out there? This is what I will say..

What's out there that will count forever it won't be taken away.
What's out there that will count forever and will be worthwile I say.

So make the memories last, the good and the bad.
They are the reason's for the change yet to be had.

I'm so sorry that I have not been feeling wonderfully. Although I am not doing great, I am drinking my to and will write on here. Writing to you all makes me happier! i'm going to share my latest work with you as well as a poem and some Halloween things that I've made.

This is titled "Fruistoftheworld" it has a meaning to it.That I will describe later. This was when it was being worked on.

This is the same painting when it was finished. It's meaning came to me after working on it for awhile. I then decided to use it for Illustration Friday's topic of "Strong". There's a watermelon as you see and the circle which represents the world. The lines represent people and how they all have to be strong throughout their life experiences. Their all connected and their energy goes into a box. There is also white on the upper part of it signifying Heaven.

This is a poem that I wrote based on my feelings at the time. Please do not take any of my poems personally as they may not have anything at all to do with you.

I titled this one "Following"

Noone can pressure me anymore.
I have found my way with an open door.

Noone can make me sing in their choir.
If I sing at all it will be to a higher power.

I am content where I am and do not need more.
I am content where I am now and intent to help the hungry and the poor.

Do not invite me to see pretty things, for they only shatter my dreams.
It shatters my dreams to see that although...
although there are those starving and in need of more
you swim on and easily let them go.

I can not for that is not what I was meant to do.
I can feel them all, my fate is not up to you.

I do not follow you, nor anyone else.
I follow my King and only he can help me out.

Some call him a king, some call him a spirit
To me....these words do not hold enough in it.

A poem to share and an unfinished work.

This is the finished piece that I promised to share with you all. :) I hope that you like it. I really surprised myself in creating it!

I understand many points of view because of what I went through.
I can see the answers in front of me and one day, I promise, you will too.
We will all join together in a feild of love and share eachothers thoughts.
We will share each emotion, each loving dream, that nature brings in drops.

Sometimes the rain is crying out a song, a song yet to be heard.
Sometimes it is of love and comfort, I promise you though it's not upsurd.
Sometimes the rain stands for all glory,Sometimes it's crying for pain.

I can hear it now though, the crys of many.
The lost,hurt and insane.
We shall all be free one day I promise.
I promise this for you and me.
We shall all be free, free of all sorrow.
Just as we are all meant to be.

I can not tell you when this will happen but I can tell you we're on the way.
The way that leads to life eternal, we'll all celebrate on that glorious day!

This is the painting that I'm working on now......

Although I did not know it's meaning when I started, that happens alot.
Like many artist's, I just paint what I feel.It seems the meanings of my paintings are coming to me faster then before though.
I know it's meaning now and will describe it to you when I have finished. :)

Some art, a poem, etc.

This is for Violette as well as a relative of mine! I began making a self-portrait awhile ago. It's for Violette because I have on a headdress.
It's for my relative because she sent me flowers to add to it. It's not finished because she said that she will send more flowers. I've decided that I can add to it over time. Anyhoo, here it is..

Here is a piece that I call "The Journey" because the texture in it was done in many different ways. This shows that each life is a journey. We're all just at different stages in life. Each journey or life is different. What each of us has to face each day is different. Which makes us all Unique. The texture in this painting represents our jouneys in life, the painting itself represents being unique. Here it is...I hope that you all like it...

Here is a poem that I wrote...
I'd like to share it with you all.
I had been writing poems in the past and did not share all of them because I was told to let others write poems. I just recently decided to share most of them though. They are on my facebook fan page. This is the most recent one...

One day you will feel it to,
The happiness I feel now meant for me, meant for you.
Everyone will all be aware of what we see.
Everyone will be aware of it, yes you, yes me.
We will all hold hands on that happy happy day,
We will all hold hands and you'll hear everyone say..
Everyone will be able to say exactly what they feel.
There will be miracles all around,
making everything so peaceful and clear.

This is the painting that I am working on now.....I am not done with it...but am working on it.
This is the start of it.....had no idea what I was going to make out of it yet.

This is the second stage.... Now it's clearer what it is about. It's about someone, something, watching over us always. It's also about me crying for the world. Crying for those that have to go through pain. Crying for those like me and those that are much worse.

I will share this when I am finished with it.

I'm going to be in a market again! Next Month on the 12th..
I made this for it. I actually painted the blocks seperately a long time ago and had no idea what I would do with them. I put them all together though to create this...I hope that you all like it.

Ok that ends my post. I hope that everyone has a great weekend! :)
Thanks for stopping by!
*HUGS* to everyone!
